Chronic pain is an invisible illness, but I see you.
I’ve had chronic pain since I was 12 years old and have only added to the pile since then. Over the years I’ve found many things that have helped me deal with the pain. Chronic pain isn’t fun, but I hope that sharing my experience and the products that help me function on a day to day basis helps you in some way as well. I focus on all aspects of life from a patient perspective, so any topic is fair game. This includes anything from parenting to medicinal cannabis.
My background is in forensic biotechnology, genetic research, pharmacy, and drug related health insurance. So please believe me when I tell you that facts and critical thinking are extremely important to me. I would never recommend anything, whether it be a product or a technique, without doing my research. If I find benefit in something, I want you to benefit as well.
As many articles on chronic pain and illnesses are written from a professional perspective, I believe it is important to show the humanity behind chronic illnesses and raise awareness past the clinical definition.
While Pain Reaction focuses on a chronic pain lifestyle, I also discuss my other illnesses:
- Tietze Syndrome
- Ulnar neuropathy
- Atypical IBS
- Chronic headaches
- TMJ disorder
- Restless Legs Syndrome
I like video games, animals and puns.
